Biography
Amy Kubichek is the research associate for the quantitative component of the Religious Workforce Project. She is responsible for managing, cleaning, coding, and analyzing large denominational datasets provided by the RWP’s research partners. She also collaborates with other RWP staff in writing and editing denominational reports on research results. Kubichek brings with her more than ten years of experience in quantitative research methods, including research design, statistics, linear regression, and longitudinal analysis. Her past research has focused on gender and international development.
Prior to coming to the Lewis Center, Kubichek worked and volunteered in a variety of roles in the nonprofit and higher education sectors, including as a pro bono grant writing assistant, social work research project coordinator, microinsurance research volunteer, and volunteer researcher and writer for a human rights organization. She has also been actively involved in her local congregation in the areas of women’s ministry, preschool ministry, and the congregation’s hunger relief efforts.
She, her husband, and daughter live in Falls Church, Virginia.
